Heard the announcer say last weekend that the track was going to be shortened and this was the last season on the track as it is now. Does anyone know how much they intend to shorten it and if it will be ready for next season?

Actually I heard 4/10 like you said John, but then I heard 3/8's also..and they are supposed to widend the front strait.

if you have ever been there maybe you will know what i am talking about. they said that turn will will be where clements racing engine sign was. it is pretty much where they come across the track to the pits. they also intend to bank it more

I know i heard Mike Duvall say that he like the track the way it is but i think the racing will be better if they do shorten it. A lot of the best racing is like any other track and that is in the corners. With the banking they have and if they put more banking the speeds will not suffer i don't think.

it is more like a mound of dirt. the banking is real uneven if you walk around the track you can see it. it looked like a bowl shape in 3 and 4
