I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has made this season and my first ever picking u a mic, one of the most fun expirences I have ever had.
A very big and special thank you to Marca Reed for picking me out of the stands that faithful first race day of the season. For those of you who dont know I b---- and complained about every annoucner Clarys has had lol. Just knew I could do better lol. Guess the ole saying is true be carefull what you ask for lol. I had know idea at 20 mins to 4 with hot laps starting at 4pm that I would find myself standing in that tower thanking "what the hell do I do now". Also want to think JC and Monk for standing behind marcia and putting up with me for these last few months. Then theres my ole buddy Carlie hanson, charlie has been at the racing game for a long time, without his help I wouldnt have stood a chance LOL.
For all the Fans and especaily my friends here at LRC thank you for all your kind words threw out the season. Also thanks to some with the early closing of clarys who made post's and phone calls to see if I could continue at other tracks. I'am not boardcast professional by no means, all I tired to do is talk to you and tell you the same things I wanted to hear when I was sitting in your seat. Because really thats all I am is a huge race fan.
To all the drivers, I'd like to think you for all your words of encourgement. I dont think I heard one complaintt from any of you(even when I should have). I did my best at getting names, hometowns and sponsers correct. But if I could give you one word of advice, when you go to a track be sure to fill out the info sheets with lots of details and also neatly. Thats all any announcer has to go by.
Last I would like to think my son Matt (raytuckerfan#1). With out his help spotting, running erans , running to the pits and bringing back updated info and for also posting live updates here on LRC. I never could have done half of what I tried to do. I would be willing to say he is the most knowledgeble 12yr old when it comes to dirt racing that I have ran across.
So to wrap things up I'd like to say thank you to each and every person who has in any way contributed (negtive or postive) to the expirences I have had this year. Hopefully next season at some track somewhere you will get to hear me yelling and screaming over a microphone .
