This is Brandy Walters, I'm Donnie Odoms Fiance. I would like to ask LRC and all of the members to please pray for Donnnies daughter Heather Odom. She was in a terrible accident this morning and now faces surgery to reconstruct her jaw, nose, and eye socket. Donnie and his family have been at the hospital (Wayne Memorial) with her all day and will more than likely be there untill the end of the week. Please lend them your thoughts and prayers.

Just came from the hospital and Donnies daughter is in fair condition but for the most part is doing pretty good considering. Right now she is just in a lot of pain and is being pumped full of morphine.They are going to meet with the plastic surgeon tomorrow to plan her surgery for wednesday morning. I will let Donnie know tomorrow morning all the people that have sent prayers his way and i am sure he will be very appreciative to know he is not in this with just one family as the lrc family is stepping up with their support. Thank you all for your warm and kind hearts in this tough time for him!!!!

does anyone know why the plastic surgery might take place me find was shot in the face with a 12 gauge and had plastic surgery at Wake and you can hardly tell what happened other then the scar hopefully everything goes ok and she make a full recovery

As far as i know the surgery will take place at Wayne Memorial Hospital, That is where she is and he said nothing about her being transfered.

Just came from the hospital and seems she didn't fare too well today. They found blood in her kidneys and had to do some tests and a cat scan. If the tests and scan come out ok they will do surgery on her tomorrow morning at 9:40 am for the reconstruction. Sorry but that is all i know right now but i told donnie about all the ones on here praying for him and words on here can't describe the emotions i seen in his eyes. As i seen and as he said he would like each one of those to know it really means a lot to him and his family. He said if it was him he wouldn.t care if he got one single prayer as long as it doubled his daughters. Thanks to all of you from mine and donnies hearts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just came from the hospital again and to all who would like to know Donnies daughters results on the blood turned out to be just a lot of bad bruising on internal organs and she was allowed to have surgery. The surgery went much better than even the doctors anticipated. And right now she is extremely sore and very swollen but is expected to make a full recovery with very little scaring. Donnie credits it all to the prayers that we have received and asked to thank each and everyone that sent them but i know that would take to many posts so i will just say thank you to all the people that have prayed. Hopefully she will now be able to be released within the next three or four days. I hope me posting what i find out each day is in no way seeming to all too much and thanks again to all!

This is my first chance to be home and to get on here but brandy has kept me posted on all the prayers me and my family have received for my daughter. I would personally like to thank each and everone for each and every prayer. My daughter had an excelent surgery with a wonderful doctor and is going to make a full recovery. She has a few metal plates in her face to always remind her of that terrible day but she is a beautiful as ever to me. We hope she will be able to get up and around a little today and she is able to talk a little right now. The doctor said she is doing great even better than expected and its just going to take a long time to completely heal, probably months but she will be fine and almost a good as before. I think she is out of danger now so i would like everyone just as i am to now concentrate on the other daughter that i noticed was posted on here. I send mine as well as my families including my daughters prayer to her now. I hope everything goes as good for her and her family as it has for me and mine. Thank you all very much.

I would just like to let everyone who has prayed for my daughter, that the doctors released her from the hospital this morning feeling her her healing and progress would go faster at home. She will be mostly bedridden for 3 or 4 days but her outlook is wonderful. The surgen said she should have no effects from the accident and thanks to him she will only have a couple of small scars and of course the metal plates (which she or noone will know) to even remind her of the accident. She is still in a lot of pain but with her being completely out of the woods and no limits to her future she as well as myself can accept the pain right now. Thanks again to all who have prayed, sent cards and flowers, visited, and just supported her and my family through this. Now lets all keep the support to other lrc family in need right now.

Thank you so much and i think you and everyone who prayed for her had a huge hand in her recovery and i appreciate every single prayer from the bottom of my heart as well as the offers from both friends close to me and friends that offered of whom i have never met. Just shows the kindness in peoples hearts.
