Spraylude is your dad Jesse Bogue #54.If so do you remember the ramp at Wilson County Speedway a long time ago. There was a bunch of us kids cheering him on every week.

I don't remember ages but I sat there for years cause there was no way I was siting in the top of those grandstands with my parents.

I remember sitting on top of my Grand dads Semi trailers and also Grady (Buddy) Joyners shop and watching the races.

i don`t know you guys ages,but i too grew up at wilson county speedway and i remember the good old times sitting on top of my dad`s bus in the pits and watch him race.i also have a 1974 program of the speedway. ought to be worth something one day maybe.yeah,them were the dayzzz!!!!

I was wondering when someone was going to reply to this thread..
My Grandad Oscar stays in the house on the corner at the back gate.. Been there for years. We use to call it mudville.

When I was younger and we went out there, we always parked in the enfield and watched the races. I think the two biggest things these days the old fairgrounds has going for it is theCounty Fair and the Easyriders event every year!

I agree Redclay Rebel i went to the easyriders this year and slo the fair. The easyriders was much cheaper...lol I really miss them days :icon_thed
