Question??? Is there server problems or something?

I've now accessed this site from 3 different computers and access providers and the site keeps getting SLOWER AND SLOWER??? What's up?

We've received the following notification from Colo4Dallas:

At approximately 3:59PM CDT on October 10, 2006, Colo4dallas technicians noticed abnormal traffic utilization on our upstream provider connections. We identified the IP in question and placed remote blackhole routes that would null route the IP on our upstream provider’s networks. This remote blackhole succeeded on the Internap connection, but did not succeed on the Level3 connection. A technician then contacted the Level3 NOC, who manually placed a null route, resolving the issue at approximately 4:13PM CDT.

During this time period, you may have noticed latency and packet degradation.

At this time, we are working with Level3 to determine the cause of the automatic null route failure.


Sundi sometimes the site will be slower than other times just depends on who is doing what.. I am on a limited Budget here so I can't afford the server I would like to have, The bigger the site gets the more resources it will eat..:smashfreakB:

It has been ok on my end for the most part today

Thanks RJ... I thought it was something different. I wasn't slamming the site ur the budget, just bringing it to you're attention....of course.. maybe I'm taking the reply personal??? Who knows?!

bake sale still stands! We could have it at Clary's...set up a little booth cupcakes, brownies and rice krispie treats! lol.....or a kissing booth....either way...lol!

I have an idea but it would have to go threw marcia to cleared with monk and would take some honest(lmao) lrc volenters to pull it off. See if LRC can handle the 50/50 drawing on the two nights. Half to the winning ticket and half to LRCand if claarys doesnt want to give upp its half maybe 50 to the winning ticket and 25 each to the track and lrc each. Let me get with "Mr. Clary" on that one, the 50/50 is his, we never see that $$$.........lol.....honestly, i think we can do something to raise $$$ for LRC, let me talk to Monk

hey, LRC is family for us at Clary's......I support this site completely, and will always do so......I have made some wonderful friends that I would probably have never known if it wasn't for LRC, not to mention everything the site has done for Clary's as well as all the local tracks........in case I haven't said it lately

Hey I really appreciate the efforts but it’s really not necessary. I would not feel comfortable taking any money from a 50/50.. Clary’s has supported this site from day one and for that I am very grateful. James with County Line and Marcia both have donated to this site, that is why we go out of our way for the both of them. We do allot of things here for all the tracks that other sites would not even think of doing, and we do them for free to help promote the best way we can.. So when someone throws us a $$ once in awhile it helps with the server costs, But I really am not looking to have a fund raiser for the site. When I started this place I started it with a budget in place and I have not exceeded that. Close to it but not yet. The season is about to close and with that the traffic here will most likely slow down as well. I don’t wish for it to slow down but I am sure it will. I am going to upgrade the server soon and we will se how that helps everything out.. If it don’t then we can have a fundraiser, but we will have to do it each month because that is how I get billed..:) :hug:
