I think nascar should take a page from some of the local dirt tracks and not praise a bonehead such as vickers by giving him the win. Instead he should have finished behind the cars he took out wherever the car that finished the fartherest back due to him causing the accident. Being a Junior fan of course i would have liked him to have won but if it was a local dirt track or at least the ones i have ran then casey in the 9 car should have been the winner! Just my opinion!!!!

Won't to boring to me...I actually watched the whole race without falling asleep. Keep in mind, there were over 60 lead changes (season high). Talledega is my favorite track next to Bristol. I like super speedways.

No, you're wrong. Hell, he's being ostracized by Hendrick anyway. He's not allowed at team meetings, he's not allowed in anything relating to his own car much less anyone elses'. What did he have to gain from helping Johnson over Junior? Nothing. Either way, he had a solid top 3, 2nd place if he'd stayed and pushed Jr. I'm not a Jr. fan by any means at all, nor am I a Johnson fan either, my heart lies at RCR, but come on Jh, that was a stupid, bonehead move any way you look at it.

Dumb? yes Mistake? maybe but as far as blocking i think every car out there was guilty of blocking at one time or the other but i did not see Jr do a lot of blocking compared to what i have seen under the same situation. Jr moved down possibly a half a car width and when jimmy took the pass there was a car length between them it was just a dumb move. Not due to Jr or jimmy, It was all brians doing.

Again, it goes back to my previous post. He had WAY TOO MUCH MOMENTUM to snatch the car the way he did. Talladega is a very wide track, he could've gone around Johnson on the inside. Hell, Jr did it all damn day. Instead he decides to literally "hook" onto the bumper of Johnson, in turn taking out the leader and the 2nd place car. If he was ostracized before, it just got worse. He'll be completely ignored until that final race in Homestead. LMAO I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson and Gordon help him get his **** out!

We must have been watching a diffferent race. What I saw, and mind you im not a JR fan or a Jimmie Johnson fan (but I like Jr a hell of a lot more than Jimmie Johnson), Jr was blocking as every driver at Talladega does, Johnson had the run on Jr and pulled out of line and when he pulled out the fresh clean air slowed his car down and Vickers went with him and they failed. No I dont think it was a mistake or dumb. If it had of been anybody other than Jr, everyone and I mean everyone would have said thats only racing. As it was yesterday, It was ONLY racing, typical Talladega Racing at its best. Congrats to Brain Vickers. Again hate it had to happen to Jr, but thats racing!!!:smoke:
