Debbie good idea for big money race. But be considerate for mod guys, they are working hard to build class and is getting better every race. These guys already have to pay more than anyone else at the track and get paid the same as everyone else. I personally dont think it is fair for these guys who work as hard as the other guys. I think that they deserve the same respect as all the others, make there big money race for $1000.00 like all the rest. Alot of the times the sportsman class, and superstreet class have low car counts as well and they do not have to pay higher entry fee. Just think that mods should be on same playing feild as everyone else. Plus I think that you would drum up a bigger class with a pay increase. Just an idea. If any other mods agree step up voice your opinions. Thanks Jonathan T.

I would love to pay $1000. to every class, its not that they dont deserve it. If you or anyone else would like to contribute more money that would be great.. every money class that has been run has only been double the original payout... sportsmans normal payout is 500 to win that is why their money class was $1000.... So if you know of anyone that wants to add to it feel free to give them my number... Or even if you can get someone feel free to do so yourself.. but as respect, I Respect ALL the classes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

man where ever you go you ain't goin to get paid what you spend in any class no matter what it cost more to race then you get paid everywhere aleast track are nice enough to give big moneys races beside racin is for fun anyway unless you are drivin slm on tour

Ya'll cut Debbie some slack here. Harper's has been running the Mod 4's since their first weekend open. No where else, besides Clary's, has the Mod 4's on a regular schedule.

I've supported Harpers this whole year and thank you all at Harpers for a great job running the track. At the beginning of the year Harpers said they were going to be looking after the local racer in the regular class. Twice now we have seen two late model races with each night the payout around $4200.00. And by the way when the late model are not racing there I haven't seen many of those drivers or late model fans there supporting the track. I think since Mod 4 class has been paying $50 entry fee and $20 for pits the track needs to show a little more to the class. Consider this Harpers just maybe the Mod 4 division and other division will grow. Again GREAT JOB to Harpers and Debbie. By the way this increase in money is not directly for me because I'm just a stocker in this class trying to keep up with these fast guys.

We are not complaining, we like Harper's and that is why we are there. Yall have raced at Harper's what once this year and you come on here acting like us that have been there the whole season are not allowed to our own opinion. As I said before we like Harper's and will continue to race there no matter what they pay. But just so you know we were glad to see the 32 there last weekend and we hope to continue to see you there and hopefully we will have the #3 back this weekend. Oh and Debbie why don't yall let the Mod 4's pay $20 to get in like all other classes especially since they are not getting paid anymore than the other classes. Thank you. Shannon T.

This is the last post I am going to make on this subject...
When the year first started out and all the drivers met before Harpers even started racing I would assume the purse and payout was discussed, also the entry fee. All these things have been in place from day one long before I took over running the track.. Yes, there are going to be some changes before we start next year.. But at this point with 4 races left in the season it will stay the same. I have really worked hard trying to keep the drivers happy and coming back.. (actually we all have at Harpers). So when the time comes for the drivers meeting to discuss rules and payouts everyone who has any complaints or suggestions please make sure you are there! I will be announcing it shortly and it will be before the end of the racing season...I am very grateful to all the drivers who has been there all year long and supported us. We do appreciate all of you and that is why I am trying to get money races together...Not only to bring more cars in but for yall to have a chance to win more...That being said hope to see everyone at the track Saturday night!!

Thanks JH! Justin really has really worked hard to keep the Mods together. Justin has really tried to keep everyone together for a higher car count as well as a bigger purse.

Not to mention that the driver just plain SUCKED!!! To spin out all alone leading is not what I should be doing. But we do know that we were WAY OFF on speed. I shouldn't ever be as slow as I was this past week. My dad and all that help me deserve better than 3rd place. I plan on trying to prove that this Sat. night if I can. Good luck to everyone , but understand I don't plan on looking STUPID two weeks in a row.:horsey:
