WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK HARPERS FOR A GREAT NIGHT OF RACING,EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT GET TO RACE WE HAD DISTRIBUTER PROBLEMS.ONE THING GOOD DID HAPPEN TONIGHT HARPERS HAD A TECH MAN WITH ENOUGH SENSE TO FIND DONNIE ODDUM ILLEGAL:mooners: US ALONG WITH OTHERS HAVE BI***** AND COMPLAINED ALL YEAR TILL FINALLY WE MADE A POINT.I KEEP READING ON POSTS WHERE'S THE CARS AT,FOLKS WE FOUND THEM THEY ARE AT HARPERS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.AGAIN THANKS TO A QUALITY TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS THAT RUN THIS TRACK:banana:

donnie has a 3 bar car and the way he explained it a late model would be a 5 bar car and they dont make a 5 bar car and donnies would be a 4 bar, the only reason he couldnt run is bc of all those cry babys out there if u cant win u gotta cry

Number One yes they called me illegal and i commend the tech staff for sticking to their guns. Although they changed they said i had a four bar car and that was the reason i could not run. The teck guy said he called multible chassis builders and that the way my car is, it is considered a four bar car whis is bull****.I have only three bars coming off the bird cages with the bird cages bolted solid and tru late model drivers or true chassis builders want to make a call on that one? I am willing to get in front of any legitimate chassis builder or any imparcial late model driver and let them say. I myself have asked and been there when other late model drivers were asked and know that what i have is now not a four bar car but a three bar car. I have not made any commentout of respect on the protest concerning your car but now you are attacking me and my car so lets just remember who was and i assume who is still running an illegal motor. If you want to come back to wcs hey let me know what you want me to do to my car and i'll see what i can do to make you happy. I also have made the offer to trade chassis and that deal stands for you also. So lets do one or the other and then the L2 car can come back to wcs and lets see if that illegal motor in my chassis can run with me with my legal motor in your chassis at wcs. My chassis had nothing to do with it its just yours and others excuses. I did get to qualify last night at harpers before they made the call and as i remember it, i was out quallified by 5 other drivers and almost a second off the pole so i guess that means i was gettin waxed down there. I attended clarys last year with the same car and got waxed. So if to no one else but me, it tells me that i just have the set up at wcs down. So be willing to take the deal and prove me wrong or learn to deal with it. This is from me.............DONNIE ODOM

Oh yea and also as i was told i can make one change to my car and i will be legal for that class down there which at some point i do intend to make and return maybe at the end of the year and as i already know it will not effect the handling on the car as i have already done the homework. and the only reason i didn't do it this week is because i emailed the track earlier and told the person who responded the situation so if i had to cange it i would have time and then was told to bring it. I think that after i got ther othere drivers had a part in the decision to all of a sudden make the change in the call. But as i said i respect the track for sticking to their guns. But that doesn't mean that there wasn't a mistake in the call. I am willing to be proven wrong are they. Neither one of them were willing to get a imparcial late model driver over last night to make the call. AS i was told no late model driver was employed by their track so they didn't need their oppinion.

I really appreciate the offer and i do intend to run clr in a few weeks if everything works out but right now i am commited to driving another car at wcs for the remainder of the races there. heck its been so long since i actually ran more than a couple of laps there i will have to learn it all over again. but hope to see everyone there sometime soon

The motor issue ...Yes you are right that three different people checked the motor and came up with three different numbers but all within 3ci's of each other and all reading illegal. Either way i did not tear tater down thinking he was illegal but only to make hime put his back together just like i was going to have to just as i would do any other driver out there that tears me down. In fact before the protest i would have bet money that tater was legal. I never brought it up or mention it until i felt attacked on here with the above post. Your team seen my motor also and could have protested any other part of the car you wanted in the following weeks. I do not blame the protest, I would have done the same thing if i were in your shoes against my car the way it is handling at wcs. But wcs is the only place the car works or runs like that. I am not looking a battle with you or anyone on your team including tater but i will defend myself in whatever means i have to just like anyone else. I always have and still respect tater as a driver and a person and that has not changed.

And Last i hope.... The Harpers call.... Just as i told the tech people saturday night i respected and honored their call and that has not changed. But it was a mistake in the call. I am willing to go in front of the chassis builder that built the chassis and let him make the decision if the call or reason they gave me is right or wrong. And if their call is determined to be correct i will personally appologise to them, every driver in that class that night, and every driver that has ever ran against that car. And as a bonus if that is determined i will park the car to never be run again and let each driver that gets an appoligy help me take the torch and cut the chassis in pieces with each driver keeping his piece as an i told you so reminder. How sure am i on the call........Very. I am willing to stick my neck and my chassis out to prove it in front of the chassis builder that built it. Now the question is is the track personel and tech staff willing. If for no other reason besides to stand behind their decision 100% but to close this issue for once in for all. ( you want to Know who the chassis builder is well that would be Mr. Lamn at the Dunn-Benson Ford race shop) hope i spelled his name right but i as well as you would think he would know a thing or two about chassis of this sort. Well now its not my call so lets wait and see.
