ERIE, Penn. -- Dirt Late Model driver George LaBarbera was tired of spending his hard earned racing dollars on expensive shocks, due to damage from the coil springs. George, who has been racing for 14 years has raced at numerous tracks. The coil over Shock Saver is a much needed piece of equipment to increase the life of the high dollar racing shocks (http://www.racefan.com/sresults.asp?SanctionID=721&StoryID=201664#). The surveys conducted at an array of race tracks revealed almost 99% approval rating for the product. The product has been shown to shock manufacturers and although it is their business to sell shocks, they still feel it is a very good product. There are 50 states of which all have local racing circuts including dirt, asphalt and clay based tracks. That is alot of shocks to protect!

A large portion of our initial customer base will be hobbyists of racing, much like George LaBarbera who races locally and regionally on smaller scale race tracks. As these men and women who race for the pure passion of the sport (http://www.racefan.com/sresults.asp?SanctionID=721&StoryID=201664#), the costs associated with their hobby can often be cumbersome. Frequent purchases and repairs of car parts such as tires and shocks, engine tune-ups, travel expenses from track to track on the weekends, as well as race entry fees often hit the pocketbook of the racing enthusiast at the end of the day. From his own experience and knowledge of the racing industry and market, George LaBarbera has been feeling the financial effects of local racing for years. Sometimes winning prize money by placing in a race often offsets the costs of preparing for that particular race. As The cost of shocks alone can typically range from $200-$800 and are often replaced depending on the wear and tear. George LaBarbera has invented a product which significantly improves the life of a shock and at the end of the day keeps money in the pockets of those race car drivers who truly love their hobby.

The shock savers job is to centralize the coil spring which maintains the true spring rating and keeps the spring from rubbing the expensive aluminum shocks, that can cause fatal damage to the shock body. The racing industry is a growing industry and the cost of racing shocks is constantly increasing. Therefore, there is a need to help extend the life of the shocks to cut costs. Our product will fit most shocks and spring manufactured products. At the present time there is no other product like ours on the market as proven by the patent on Big Shot Performances new invention. The long term outlook for the industry nationally for our product is overwhelming, as there has always been racing and always will be racing. If our product succeeds domestically, international distribution will be sought with the aid of Motor State. Our shock saver prevents damage to the shock and this cost savings will greatly benefit car owners, sponsors and race teams.

Let's put it like this.

Who cares about this spam?

I know of many race car teams that reuse the same shock from night to night and year to year. The only way you damage a shock is when you wreck.

So the best solution is not to wreck. Race with people that you can trust and know your limitations. Don't drive over your head and don't use your race car to retaliate when someone makes you angry.

I can show you pictures of people that race with a 1996 Rocket or Mastersbuilt that still looks like new. Finishes in the top 10 every night and the same in the points standing at the end of the year.

Most not race much up front, shocks go bad, when the coil goes off center it wears the shock tube. Most, MOST every team carry 18/20 shocks in there trailers and that includes the Super late Models to the Northeast mud buses. Ask Hearn, Cozze, Pauch, Horton, Decker all of the Johnson how many shocks they have on board. The traveling Super Late Models carry even more. We change shocks from heat to the feature every nite we run. Don't know what class you run or where you run or if you do even race but shocks wear out and coil will move off center and wear the tube. Rough tracks can mess shocks up just as quick as a accident can.

I have the shock savers on my late model thay are the best investment we have made for the team. If you put one on a spring and test it on the spring tester on a 250lbs spring you can compress it as far as you want and it will still be a 250lbs rating. try it with out the shock saver/centralizer you will see rate fade as much as 25lbs. We found it at bigshotperformance.net for $22.95 each try them before you have the same shock trouble that we were having. There is also a performance gain i think because there is no spring bind.
