the 07 was 2nd with the motor out of the 07 t&l car in it.

So what you are saying it wasn't a SLM race...it was a T&L race like they have down in SC.

Congrats to Wade finally he wins when Im there to see it. Of corse congrats to my ole pal Britches good seein him and Alan drivin like they were in the heat race. Good latemodel race espicially with Britches holdin off Bobby!Nice run for Junior Johnson as well. Cant beleive whut happened to goat man in the psv8 class he was runnin 3rd and got spun out that was real upsetting.

Yeah i hated to see that happen to Goats too.. But what was even worse was the fact that the #44 that spun got to stay in his spot and not go to the back but gain a spot for doing it. Congrats to Scooter it was great seeing you back out at CLR. It was almost like the old days out there with all the late models there and Scooter winning. Good Luck to Wade also and all the rest of the winners.. See you all next week at the line..

yeah i know that was relly bad to do ole David like that it really hurt to see it and they didnt even throw a cation for it. I told him if it was me i would have pulled down out everybodys way and stopped and waited for a cation goat man is one of my really close friends at the track so it really hurt to see that. And to everyone that was lookin for my #63 I didnt have any numbers on it thats why I couldnt bring it beleive me on this it will definatly be there next race!

The #9 never spun out or stopped , so there was no caution. If #9 had of spun out or stopped a caution would have been displayed and they both would have gone to the rear.

So what you are saying it wasn't a SLM race...it was a T&L race like they have down in SC.

READ MY POST,I SAID "THE 07" HAD A T&L MOTOR IN IT.I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT NOT BEING A SLM RACE. "MOST" EVERYBODY KNOWS,CLR DOES NOT TAKE ALOT OF HOSREPOWER TO RUN GOOD.LOOK AT THE TOP 3 CARS.THE 10,07,&36 ALL HAD LIMITED TYPE MOTORS. GRANTED,IF THE V1 HAD NOT BROKE WE WOULD ALL HAVE BEEN RACING FOR 2ND PLACE.I HATED TO SEE THAT HAPPEN TO SPENCER. I HOPE HE HAS IT READY FOR THE NEXT RACE AT CLR IN 4 WEEKS.

It was some good racing saturday. Chris is right it doesn't take alot of horsepower if you got a good handleing car. That's the biggest thing that's helping me. I can't afford to buy the high dollar motor part's. So 2 week's ago i decided to work on sitting the car up for a very hard track & it is working ! If you noticed in the heat race my car wasn't as fast as the other guy's., But in the main race i barely lifted in either turn.If you car is hooking up you are going to be fast. If you got a fast motor but no handleing you not going anywhere. I don't have no where near the motor I had at the first of the year ( that one blew up ) but i do have a set of scales & i have been working on the set up that's best for me & I finally got it driving just like I need it to be.I will see everyone in a 2 week's. Hey Chris when can I drive the # 07 in t&l????

yeah agree, i woud love to see wade in the 07 t&l. wade ur car was rolling, i think if u wouldn't havehad all those weeks of bad luck, we would be right in the mix of things as far as points go,but hey i think as long as the car is running good and u like how it is running, u ain't going to be to worried about the points. but any ways, i'll see u in 2 weeks at the track, i was joking when i told ur dad this, i told him now that u won the past 2 races, u can go to wcs saturday and race there this weekend.

No motor in it right now,its in the 07 late model. If you can get someone to push really fast,we can work something out.LOL!!!

:smiley_310: , chris i can push it really fast, this is what i would do. give wade a big push down the straight aways and then he would have enough speed in the turns to go through them .

crewmembers461
08-29-2006, 12:19 PM
hey chris let britches push him down the straight aways and that would give him enough speed to get thru the corners but see then that would put the 07 in front of britches then and wade win the race
