The pure stock v-8 class was interesting this past saturday night between michael and gary. There was side by side racing one time on the backstretch and also gary was right on the bumper of michael in each turn. Toward the last couple of laps the #23 John Deere green car only running on a couple of cylinders has to ride in the groove couldn't move toward the bottom of the track or the top of the track to get out of the way knowing that the lead cars were coming but got right in the way. Somebody needs to tell that boy that if his car is not running right to park it or ride down low and not get in the way of the leaders. I hated to see the #21 Gary Whitley car getting tore up because of a stupid lap car. Maybe next time gary will win. :05Cool:

if the caution was threw when it needed to be thrown it wouldn't have happened there was a stopped car on teh back staright away there for about 2 mins and no caution was thrown the car number was 29 the dude in turn 3 must not have been lookin i mean he was in the bottom stopped after he got back goin teh caution was thrown cause of the turn 1 and 2 wreck so if the track memebers on the back strech was watchin who knows i hated it for gray do hope it gets it back right for this weekend

The car #29 completed all 15 laps, there is no way that he was sitting on the back strecth for two minutes. The accident had nothing to do with any car other than the #23, #21, and #56. If the #21 would have been able to continue, without going to the pits, he would have been placed back in the lead position. The flag was thrown for the #23 when he started to turn down to make his entrance to the outside pits. The #56 was able to continue and he went back to his position.

Anyone that wants to run the track can have it. I am just about tired of not being able to please anyone.

Hey James its Like a Football Game , Everyone Wants to Coach from the SideLines, But No Body Wants a Team of their Own, Your Doing A Great Job at County Line!, Just Do as You Been Doing Caus. Its Been Working, Your Hard Works Shows, Gonna get 'People's Opinions' No Matter What, Some Times You Can Learn Something from Them and Sometimes Not, Some Times They will Agree with You and Sometimes Not. I Won't let them Worry me None. I don't Think anyone "Means Any Harm" by Voiceing Their Opinions, Everyone See's Something Different Most of the Time and In Racing Seems We See More In 'Favor' of the Driver We Like or Support, You are Right to Stand Up for The Folks that Help You at Your Track, But You can't be every where at the Track at One Time, and you may Miss something here and there, Thats Just the Nature of The Business, You Don't have to Please anyone but "The Fans", Just do as you been doing, Run the Track Fair and Square, and at the End of the Nite, Know that You Done the Best You Can Do and The Fans Left Happy and the Drivers got a Fair Shake. and the Rest Just: Let Roll Off Your Back Like 'Water On A Duck' , Just My 1 Cents Worth, Keep Of The Good Job :05Cool:

I did'nt see him down there but he had nothing to do with the wreck. sometimes you just don't throw the caution every time a spin happens . Especially when the person is out of the way.

i agree, it had nothing to do with the wreck. and he was out of the way at the bottom. gary was just a victim of circumstances. i guess he thought the 23 was going to go low but he didnt.

I agree wif vetsms....James you aren't gonna be able to please everyone so just stop trying and keep doing what you are doing...no matter what someone is gonna find something wrong somewhere but the thing about this issue is you made the call and its done and over with...the call stands...let it be....it was unfortanate what happened to the #21 but then again that is what racing is all about alot of unfortanates some good some bad.....as far as CLR is concerned....James you must be doing something right look at the stands one night while you are on the flagstand and see how many people are sitting there watching not to mention how many racing entries ya'll receive...I don't think I've seen that many before in the past....I dunno but anyone else but I'm havin a ball when I go there every sat nite....yeah I'm biased towards the #56, #R5, #4, #41,#97,#96 but hey we can't win them all....James, you and your team makes the calls and thats final...if some people can't deal with that (and i'm not sayin they can't i'm just makin a statement) then oh well..they'll get over it when they grow up!...In the meantime just do what you do best and thats wavin those flags and calling the shots Boss!

kz650ridingchic and vetsms9 are right!! James and crew.. ya'll are doing a TERRIFIC job!! You will never be able to please everyone at anything you do. I know it is hard to have so many people saying stuff but just think... for every one person that thinks the track made a bad call, there are prob five that don't think a bad call was made. It is sad that all you get to hear is bad things and not praise for all that you and the other track members do. Being the head of things and having to make decisions people don't like is part of being the leader, I have experience in this. You will always have people voicing their opinion if it is bad. Very few times will you hear that what you have done was GREAT!!! But the truth is, that most people that don't say anything don't have a problem with any calls made. So there are lots of people out there that agree with the calls made, and even ones that don't still think you are doing an AWESOME job. Keep up the hard work!!! I know something good when I see it... and County Line is definately something good!!!! Just keep your head high!!! I know how it is to receive criticism and never praise.. so.... CONGRATULATIONS on all your hard work!!!! The track and its workers are a great asset to the racing world!!! You are doing a FANTASTIC job!!!!

James, I don't know how this post got twisted around to bashing the tracks calls..I know Redneckfan and myself sure aren't blaming you and Glenn for what happened in turn one with Gary Whitley. Weather a caution had been thrown or not would not have helped to teach young drivers that they need to get out of the groove if they are having problems...I think most veteran drivers know if they are going to exit the track between turns 1&2 they need to get up high...You can tell drivers how to do it but that doesn't mean that they are listening to you or Glenn...I have been going to CLR since I thick 1988 or 89 and have seen alot of changes over the years....If anyone doesn't think that you and your crew this year haven't made positive changes then they haven't been around long enough to know what thier talking about..I've been there when the Upchurchs didn't have anything to do with the promotion or the running of the track and you heard here IT SUCKED. I have already told Glenn this several weeks ago at the shop so now I'm telling you James that you are doing a great job and nobody is entending on bashing the job you have done..I personnal try to talk up the track and the racing seen at the track to everyone I know....So keep on doing the job like youv'e been doing it because some of us see the good you and your crew have done.. :Kill1:
