Just wondering what everyone thought about this subject. Everyone has an opinion about it lets hear yours.

Some people say it hurts tracks because people will sit home instead of going to the race.

What do you think?

I think not! Everyone thats going to be at the track are already at the tracks. Updtaes are good for us fans they may have to work, have plans we can't get out of on race night or might be sick and can't go.

I agree with RedclayRebel. The people that are able to go are not going to stay home to read updates.

I agree, Real race fans are going to be at the track if they can.

Race fans are unlike any other sports fans. Some will spend there last dollar to be at the track, but for the one who's last dollar wasn't enough to get there, LIVE updates are the next best thing to being there.......if that makes since to you guys.......????.

I have to agree with you totally .... and County Line is my favorite dirt track! Haven't been in a while so I've got to get over there and catch the fun!!

I think Live Updates are great!!! I'm from south west Virginia and have to work some weekends and can't always make it to the race of my choice so this is my racing connection!!! I feel sure there are others in the same boat, Also I feel like it will help expose other tacks to people and hopefully pull fans to another track from time to time, good example I watched the video of WCS and were planning on going next Saturday.:lrc_rules:

I love up dates because once in a great great while I can't make it and I just have to know how things are going.:dirt_race:

I agree. Updates are a great things. No one is gonna sit home and wait for the updates. It's only if they have no other choice than to be stuck at home. Also I like to go back and look at the live updates of races that went on while I was at another race. Kinda gives you a feel for how somebody won, other than just seeing a ruslts page showing were drivers finshed..

I would have to say that if it is a "BIG RACE" with a lot of out of town cars, it is the best way to keep up with your driver, and it helps the track with geting the word out everyone about different tracks around the country. As far as a regular show goes, the true fan will be there, but in some cases you have people that work or just can not get there for what ever reason, so it is good for them also. Also in alot of races your favorite driver might be running in a race and you just can not make the race because it is half way across the country and you want to know the results.
The only thing "I" have a problem with, and it never fails, you (ME) are posting what we have and someone whats to know where so and so is or where so and so qualified or what was his time.
Sometimes that information just is not avaliable or given .
